Conclusion

Over the last twenty-one days you have had the opportunity to get to know Jesus by studying the Gospel of John.  As in any relationship, spending more time with someone enables you to develop a deeper relationship with that person.  A daily quiet time (or devotional time) is an important habit for keeping your relationship with Jesus vibrant and growing. 

Here in a Year offers a tool for reading through the entire New Testament in a year by simply reading one chapter a day Monday through Friday with weekends off (so five chapters a week).  Now that you have established a relationship with Jesus you might consider taking on the challenge of reading the New Testament.  If you will use the five steps that you learned in this exercise (listed in the introduction of Get to Know Jesus) you will be amazed at your spiritual growth over the course of a year.
